Today, more than any other day before, the words of this epic tune beckon us to care for one another and not to simply ignore the pain and suffering of our fellow humans. We all share this world and this existence--it's only together that we are able to instill meaning into any of it. The gutbusting crescendos of David Gilmour's guitar virtuosity sure doesn't hurt in hammering this message home...
